The next step in Ultimate Fighter 7 winner Amir Sadollah’s career will come this May, as the likeable welterweight has been linked to a fight with Jorge Lopez at UFC on Fuel 3. Both men will be looking to spring back from a stumble in their previous pairings with Sadollah’s coming against Duane Ludwig last August and Lopez’s to Justin Edwards at UFN 25.
News of their bout, along with match-ups featuring Cody McKenzie-Aaron Riley and Brad Tavares-Dongi Yang, were revealed by the UFC over the weekend.
While Sadollah may seem like a seasoned pro at this point, he’s actually only eight fights in to a career where his first professional win came inside the Octagon at the finale for TUF 7. He has gone 5-3 thus far, picking up solid wins over C.B. Dolloway, Phil Baroni, and DaMarques Johnson.
The 11-2 Lopez is also a relative newcomer, making his UFC debut in the loss to Edwards. The longtime student of Wanderlei Silva had won ten in a row entering the bout.

MMATraining Take: All three of the newly named fights should be decent though none jump out at me as being particularly amazing. However, I will say I think Riley/McKenzie will be competing for the right to remain on the roster so that in itself should be interesting.
