Battle of the Young Guns: Horodecki vs. Lauzon Rumoured

MMATraining.com has learned that a potential opponent for Canadian Chris Horodecki is non other than Dan Lauzon. Dan is the younger brother is UFC fighter Joe Lauzon and was the youngest competitor ever in UFC history.

Lauzon was TKOed by Spencer Fisher in his lone UFC fight in 2006. The Bridgewater, MASS resident has a professional record of 10-2 and is riding a 6 fight win streak.

With the IFL reaching their conclusion just last month, Horodecki was free to seek offers from other promotions. He settled on a 3 fight deal with Affliction and will fight on their October 11th card. Horodecki, 20 years old carries a professional record of 12-1. The Team Tompkins fighter fights out of London, Ontario Canada along with Sam Stout and Mark Hominick.

A fight between Horodecki, 20 and Lauzon, also 20, would make up one of the better fights between great young talent that Mixed Martial Arts has seen, and would certainly be a crowd pleaser as both fighters bring great intensity and a world of experience, despite their age.
