Chan Sung Jung, better known as “The Korean Zombie”, is ready to do what none have yet thus far and put Jose Aldo‘s title-run to an end. The UFC featherweight defeated Dustin Poirier recently, vaulting himself up the ladder in the UFC’s featherweight division. As a result, TKZ wants a piece of Aldo and isn’t afraid to call him out to get it.
However, one thing stands in the way of Aldo-Jung taking place, as Erik Koch has been named the next contender to the belt. An injury postponed the contest, though it is expected to take place later this year, likely in Brazil at UFC 153.
Still, Jung has decided to take to Twitter and call for a match with “Scarface,” recently posting, “I want Jose Aldo. I will end his reign as a Champion.”
The 25-year-old Jung has won his last three bouts, including two via submission – over Poirier and Leonard Garcia – as well as a lighting-quick knockout over Mark Hominick.

MMA Training Take: Jung-Aldo would be a huge fight to market, especially if the UFC returns to Asia in the future. “The Korean Zombie” is an exciting fighter that fans have taken a strong liking to ever since his days in the WEC. Expect TKZ to receive a shot at the belt following one more win.
