It seems UFC President Dana White is tired of listening to disgruntled light heavyweight Quinton Jackson run his mouth about mistreatment at the hands of the organization he still draws a paycheck from. White has been fairly reserved in terms of lashing out at Jackson in the past, doing his best to work with the oft-angry former champion, but is now ready to take a different approach and speak his mind on the matter.
“I’ll have a conversation with ‘Rampage’ and think we’re cool and then I’ll read other stuff. So, ‘Rampage’ is obviously not happy with the UFC. No big deal brother,” said White at a press conference promoting tomorrow night’s UFC on FOX 3 lineup.
“We’ve been good to everybody that we’ve ever dealt with. We’ve never screwed anybody over, including ‘Rampage’,” continued White, the anger in his voice growing. “You want to talk about a guy we went to bat for. We’ve gone to bat for him so many times. I feel like fu**in’ (Derek) Jeter when it comes to ‘Rampage’. If he’s unhappy with us, doesn’t like us, and doesn’t want to be with us anymore, then the feeling is mutual.”
Jackson is currently sidelined with knee injuries. He has said he wants to fight Forrest Griffin or Mauricio Rua in one final UFC fight and then part ways with the company.

MMATraining Take: I’ve been saying this for awhile but good riddance. Jackson is a great showman and a legendary fighter but he has some personal issues that could seriously hurt the UFC’s reputation one day.
