Good news surfaced earlier today when UFC welterweight champ Georges St-Pierre revealed he’d resumed his regular training regiment rather than scale back the routine out of concern for a surgically repaired knee. GSP went under the knife in December to address a torn ACL he suffered while preparing for a fight against Nick Diaz.
St-Pierre updated fans on his health via Twitter where the 22-2 title-holder wrote, “I’m back in Montreal and full-time training! Already tried a few kicks – right knee is super strong.”
As long as “Rush” can maintain his status he will face interim champion Carlos Condit in November at UFC 154. It will be his first fight in more than eighteen months.

MMATraining Take: It’s nice to think St-Pierre may finally be over his injury issues though it’s still too early to tell. Regardless, I’m stoked he’s back to 100% and moving forward in his career!
