Early Friday morning, MMATraining.com confirmed with Mark Hominick that his original opponent for TKO 35 Tommy Lee has broken his hand and will be replaced on the October 3rd card at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Stepping in to take his place will be JC Pennington. Pennington (18-5) is coming off a TKO victory over Tonny Canales at the Louisiana Fighting Championships in August of this year. Pennington trains with Rich Clementi out of Team Voodoo and out of his 18 wins, 10 are by submission.
Hominick is coming off an impressive win over Savant Young at the first Affliction card July 19th of this year.
You can follow along with Hominick’s training here as he looks to continue his momentum training for a different opponent.
