Jason MacDonald vs. Nate Quarry Set for UFC 97
Posted by Kage PhanThe Fight Network news is reporting Canadian Jason MacDonald will take on Nate Quarry in a middle weight battle at UFC 97 in Montreal April 18th. The event will take place at Montreal’s Bell Centre.
Both fighters are coming off recent first round losses. MacDonald suffered a first round loss to Wilson Gouveia at The Ultimate Fighter Finale 8 December 13, 2008. MacDonald is 4-4 in his last 8 outings and will look to get back on the winning track in his home country.
Quarry was defeated at UFC 91 November 15th in Las Vegas by Damian Maia by rear naked choke in the first round. Since Quarry made a comeback from back surgery over a year ago, he has gone 2-1 inside the Octagon.
