The time has come for Strikeforce bantamweight champ Miesha Tate to finally get her hands on Ronda Rousey, an unbeaten judoka who has rubbed her the wrong way for months leading up to this evening’s main event at Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey. However, the ill will is not exclusive to Tate, as Rousey has also called into question the wrestler’s athleticism and finishing ability.
A number of other scintillating scraps are also scheduled for tonight’s main card including heavy-handed Paul Daley taking on Japanese veteran Kazuo Misaki and ever-improving lightweight K.J. Noons mixing it up with former title-holder Josh Thomson.
The prelims start at 8:00 PM EST on Showtime Extreme with the featured fights firing up at 10:00 PM EST on Showtime. As always, MMATraining will deliver live results to readers as soon as they start rolling in.
