UFC 148 Results: Anderson Silva retains title with second round stoppage of Chael Sonnen

In just a few short hours the world will know if Anderson Silva was able to capitalize on his rage towards rival Chael Sonnen or if Sonnen’s smack-talk achieved its goal by throwing Silva off from his typically terrific game. The two talented middleweights are set to meet tonight at UFC 148 where Silva will defend his divisional title against Sonnen for the second time in their careers.

The card is also highlighted by Tito Ortiz taking on Forrest Griffin in a match-up marking Ortiz’s final appearance inside the Octagon before he retires from MMA.
