UFC middleweight Michael Bisping isn’t known for biting his tongue instead of letting his thoughts fly unfiltered out of his mouth. As such, “The Count” has engaged in a number of verbal battles with his 185-pound peers. However, Bisping’s latest rant took things to a new level, as the Ultimate Fighter winner took aim at an entire division not to mention one that wasn’t his own.
“No one cares about little flyweights; this is the real main event, this is the real big fight. Tune in cause someone’s getting knocked out,” said Bisping, hyping his upcoming bout with Brian Stann at the expense of advertised UFC 152 headliners Demetrious Johnson-Joseph Benavidez.
“This is the real main event. Two big, hard hitting guys,” he added.
UFC 152 is scheduled for September 22 in Toronto and is also scheduled to feature a bout between Rory MacDonald-BJ Penn.

MMATraining Take: Bisping is a bully at times and this is another example of it. In no way is Stann-Bisping more important than the UFC crowning its inaugural flyweight champion. The former is a FX headliner, the latter a historic moment.
