Sam Stout does not like bullies. In fact, he is doing everything he can to fight bullying in schools. Fightline.com recently caught up with UFC lightweight Sam “Hands of Stone” Stout to discuss a variety of topics including his stance on bullying and how it can be prevented. Stout is putting his money where his mouth is as he is involved in a number of anti bullying campaigns to stop bulling in schools, and participated in a recent event held at UFC 131 in Vancouver for anti bullying. It is professional MMA fighters like Sam Stout that can really make a difference when they speak about the subject.
“I think our best way of trying to help prevent (bullying) is with our kids program at our gym”, Stout told Fightline.com. Stout acts as one of the main coaches over at the Adrenaline Training Center in his hometown of London, Ontario and said that preventing bullying starts with young kids at his gym.
Bullying will likely never go away, but if professional fighters like Stout can continue to stand up and speak out against bullying and showing kids MMA Training, then some real change will continue to happen. Check out the full Sam Stout interview here.
