Stars field strange questions from fans at recent UFC on FOX presser
Posted by Dan Becks
It might not have been the kind of response UFC President Dana White wanted after he allowed people in the crowd to ask questions during the pre-fight UFC on FOX: Velasquez vs. Dos Santos press conference earlier this week.
The press conference featured White, UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and top contender Junior dos Santos. Velasquez-Dos Santos will meet Saturday night from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California in the first network television fight on FOX since the UFC signed a multi-year deal with the television giant.
Among other questions/comments, watch below as one fan ask Velasquez to change his nickname because of his resemblance to the Shrek character from the Disney movies, though in fairness a few intriguing queries did make it through including both heavyweights’ humility in the wake of all the fan support and attention they’ve received.

MMATraining Take: White called this the biggest fight in the history of the UFC, and while I don’t completely agree, it will go a long way in showing how far the UFC has come in the mainstream. Velasquez and dos Santos have a chance to become the new generation’s Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar.
