With it being the holiday season chances are a lot folks have packed on a few extra pounds courtesy of cookies, candy, and a handful of massive family-style meals. To keep you looking slim and fit – “Rushfit” that is – it’s time to turn to one of the most conditioned athletes in MMA.
In this MMATraining Technique of the Day, UFC welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre demonstrates an easy-to-do workout exercise known as the “break fall to hip heist”. While it alone will not be enough to get you in GSP-level shape it will at least help keep your midsection from resembling one of a certain jolly old elf who likes sliding down chimneys around this time of year.
