Technique of the Day: Ground-and-Pound with Sarah Kaufman

The spirited effort from Sarah Kaufman earlier this month against Alexis Davis reminded the world why the Canadian is one of the top females in MMA. Next up she’ll attempt to do what no other competitor has done yet in terms of not only making it out of the first round against Ronda Rousey but winning while also taking the Olympic judoka’s Strikeforce belt as well.

To do so she’ll not only need crisp striking but to remain mindful of Rousey’s submission game from the bottom. Showing she knows a thing or two about how to work from above, this MMATraining Technique of the Day features Kaufman’s instruction on how to effectively ground-and-pound an opponent while taking advantage of an adversary’s submission attempts.
