Technique of the Day: Guillotine Choke (with Urijah Faber)

Last night UFC 139 delivered an action-packed event highlighted by a number of impressive performances including Urijah Faber finishing former WEC champion Brian Bowles with a “Submission of the Night” showing. The Guillotine Choke Faber put Bowles away with was one of the staples of his Team Alpha Male camp and had even assisted “The Californian Kid” in earning victories over Jeff Curran and Dominick Cruz while under WEC’s banner.
In this MMATraining Technique of the Day, Faber offers instruction on how to improve one’s Guillotine Choke to the point opponents will fear the hold in the same way they likely do when the 32-year old latches hold of their necks…
