Technique of the Day: Heavy Bags with Mark Hominick
Posted by MMATraining.com Staff
He may not be on the poster this weekend at UFC 140 but you can rest assured London, Ontario native Mark Hominick will receive an ovation as loud as any fighter on the card including light heavyweight champion Jon Jones or MMA icons Tito Ortiz/Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
Hominick, who fights Chan Sung Jung at the event, is known for his well-rounded attack including some of the best boxing in the featherweight division. In this MMATraining Technique of the Day, “The Machine” talks about the benefit of working with a heavy bag in intervals rather than in non-stop sessions and demonstrates some striking techniques in such a capacity.
