Technique of the Day: Kimura with Jim Miller
Posted by MMATraining.com Staff
When UFC lightweight Jim Miller takes on hard-hitting Melvin Guillard this Friday night in the main event of UFC on FX 1 it’s likely he’ll avoid standing with “The Young Assassin” if possible and work for submissions. The 20-3 Miller has won more than half of his fights by way of tap-out while eight of Guillard’s nine total losses have been the result of his inferior grappling skills.
In this MMATraining Technique of the Day, Miller will walk viewers through his version of the Kimura, giving interested parties a resource to pull from if ever in a similar situation as the one he’ll face in a few days against Guillard.
