Technique of the Day: Strength Training with Rousimar Palhares

UFC middleweight Rousimar Palhares is one of the most physically intimidating 185ers in MMA with his short, stocky, extremely muscular physique. Rather than prohibit his attack inside the ring, “Toquinho” (i.e. “tree stump) is able to utilize his frame to latch onto opponents limbs and finish them off with a submission as he’ll try to do this weekend to Alan Belcher at UFC on FOX 3.

In this MMATraining Technique of the Day, Palhares had cameras document some of his strength training, thus giving viewers some insight into the type of workout routine it takes to achieve his level of fitness.
