Question: What did UFC 122, UFC 121 and UFC 120 all have in common?
Answer: Lots of bad fights.
I’m concerned that the UFC is running thin on talent when UFC card after UFC card is stacked with so many boring fights.
Dongi Yang vs. Chris Camozzi. The only thing that kept me watching was to see if they would say “Donger” or “Long Duck Dong” but they kept saying Dongi like it wasn’t a funny name.
Dennis Siver vs. Andre Winner. Nope, just two losers.
Gilbert Yvel vs. Wasgilberyvel Everanygood. Yvel is terrible. I’m ok with a talented fighter having an off night but Gilbert Yvel is a bad fighter not trying every fight. He makes me feel like I’m watching “Iron” Mike Sharpe without all the yelling.
Cheick Kongo. Take Cheik Kongo off all UFC cards in the future. Cheick should go back to being Seal and stop fighting.
Amir Sadollah vs. Peter Sobotta. Sadollah Sobotta Sadollah Sobotta Tomato Tomato Potato Potato boring.
Tito Ortiz vs. Matt Hamill. Did you notice that after Tito got hit a few times and realized he had to try to win that he decided to daydream about Jenna Jameson? Tito is done as is anyone that fought in the Tito era. The UFC should start a seniors tour – it worked for golf.
There are countless examples on the latest batch of cards. There must be better talent out there somewhere. If this is the best then the UFC is going to have problems as the mainstream fan tunes in to watch some these latest cards and quickly tunes out.
Cut some of the names we no longer care to watch, cultivate some good talent and get back to putting on cards that have us reaching for our wallets or you’ll be boxing in a couple years as the excitement that was the UFC wears off.
Gibert Yvel. Oh please….
