UFC 139 fighters look back at historic event at post-event presser
Posted by Dan Becks
UFC president Dana White knows he witnessed history this past weekend at UFC 139, as legends Dan Henderson and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua put on a show in the main event from San Jose, California.
Henderson and Rua were both absent from the post-fight press conference due to needing medical attention after their thrilling five-round war, a classic encounter featuring “Hendo” picking up a hard-fought decision win though many felt it was close enough to rule a draw including the UFC President.
White, along with several of the performers from the night, talked about their fights and future UFC events in the post-fight press conference. Participants included Stephan Bonnar, Urijah Faber, Martin Kampmann, and Wanderlei Silva.
