UFC91 Predictions

Tickets were snapped up faster than Montreal which holds the current attendance record.
All the attention is on Brock and Randy but this overall card is a monster.
Here are the predictions for the top fights on the card as currently rumored.
Randy Couture (16-8) vs. Brock Lesnar (2-1)
This is simply an interesting fight. Brock has shown amazing speed, strength and against Frank Mir that he is susceptible to submission based on MMA basics. If they decide to bang it out, Brock looks like too much of a powerhouse. They key here is Randy is a fight plan master. We expect him to execute to a game plan with perfection and be able to take this one with the fight going the distance.
Quinton Jackson (28-7) vs. Wanderlei Silva (32-8-1)
We just can’t get ourselves to an 0-3 Jackson against Silva. That’s what makes this card so intriguing, the matchups are that good. We predict that Jackson comes out strong and Silva remains timid to kick things off and that is as far as it gets – an early TKO for Jackson.
Kenny Florian (10-3) vs. Joe Stevenson (29-8)
Florian looked impressive and complete in his win over Huerta. This is a tough challenge for him but he has been getting stronger and more confident with each of his last several victories. With a looming BJ matchup still in the back of KenFlo’s mind we don’t see him slipping up along the way. Florian in a close decision.
Dustin Hazelett (11-4) vs. Tamdan McCrory (9-1)
Favorite is Hazelett in this one but do not be surprised by an upset here. McCrory looked greatly improved in his UFC87 win. Hazelett by decision.

Who is this Matt Seen guy? He hasn’t Seen sh#t obviously. To even think that Brock has a chance against a decorated vet like Couture is laughable! This isn’t the school yard where the biggest, fattest kid wins!
Randy will systematically break down the big thug with repeated take downs and an eventual submission on the ground!

I see Brock winning this fight in the same fassion as his last fight. The only way it does not go to decision is if Brock seriously improves his jui-jitsu. As for Randy winning, his only shot is if Brock makes a critical mistake. As long as Brock keeps his composure, I don’t see that happening.

WHAT THE HELL IS DANA WHITE THINKING LETTING RANDY EVEN FIGHT IN THE UFC AFTER ALL THE THINGS RANDY HAS SAID ABOUT DANA.
I’M ASUMMING DANA THINKS LESNER IS GOING TO END RANDYS CARRER FOR GOOD.
I’M PREDICTING A VERY FAST FIRST ROUND KNOCK OUT FOR LESNER.

Hey fight fans it’s corky here, I think we all know now that the fight between lesner and coture was fixed! that’s right i said it coture was bending his head down covering his face and started to roll bacwards and lesner got on top of coture and began a beat/down.The fight was stopped and lesner is now the heavy weight champion. As a big fan i’m not sure if i will be paying to see people not fight for real. i’ll just watch WWF screwballs…..
