The UFC will return to the home of the organization’s first show with an event on August 11 in Denver, Colorado. Though no main event has been named for the card, two fights have been confirmed including a middleweight match-up between Yushin Okami and Luiz Cane.
Also scheduled for action at UFC 150, Dennis Hallman and Thiago Tavares will mix it up at 155 pounds.
News of the bouts was confirmed by the UFC via The Denver Post where each was first reported.
The 26-7 Okami will be looking to snap the first two-fight slide of his career when he faces Cane, most recently suffering a third round TKO loss to Tim Boetsch in February after starting out strong in the first two frames.
Comparably, Cane has lost three of his last four fights with each involving a strike-based stoppage. He has been sidelined since UFC 134 for health-related reasons, though the time off has apparently given him a time to slim down as his August outing will mark his 185-pound debut.

MMATraining Take: This is a perfectly serviceable scrap between two guys who know how to bring it and desperately need a victory.
