A video surfaced this morning on BJPenn.com showing the UFC Lightweight champion receiving a visit from who BJ called “the best fighter in the world”, Fedor Emelianenko. Fedor is currently in the US with a slightly less hectic schedule than what was expected before the recent cancellation of Affliction: Trilogy.

Upon hearing the news that Josh Barnett had been suspended for a failed steroid test, rumors have begun circulating that Vitor Belfort would step-in as a replacement to fight Fedor Emelianenko in the Affliction: Trilogy main event.

Fedor Emelianenko will once again take center stage for the MMA world to see next Saturday night at Affliction Trilogy. Who will his opponent be? It hasn’t been confirmed yet, but Vitor Belfort looks to be the front runner. Will we see the same magic Saturday night that we’ve become accustomed to Fedor or will he finally be broken?
