A match that was supposed to happen June 7th at UFC 85 in London, England, will instead take place at UFC 89, in Birmingham, England Ocotber 18th. English star Michael Bisping and American Chris Leben have been booked for the October card to fight each other. Marshall Zelaznik, the head of the UFC’s UK division, announced this fight on Setanta News Ultimate Talk Show, a UFC show that airs on English television.

Leben and Bisping were supposed to fight on the June 7th card, but Leben was unable to fight, due to turning himself into police for a prior conviction of DUI, and had to serve jail time.

Bisping is coming off back to back wins over Charles McCarthy at UFC 83 in Montreal and Jason Day at UFC 85, after dropping down from LightHeavyweight. Neither fight made it into the second round. Leben is also coming off back to back wins over Terry Martin at UFN 11 and Alessio Sakara at UFC 82 in Ohio. Both fighters love to stand and trade punches and a win for either would move them up the middleweight rankings in a hurry.
