Another native Canadian will do battle inside the Octagon, as Mark Bocek has signed to meet Matt Wiman at UFC 145 in Montreal. UFC 145 takes place March 24 inside the Bell Centre.

Bocek (10-4) is just 2-2 in his last four fights after putting together an impressive three-fight win streak. His last time out, Bocek downed Nik Lentz at UFC 140 in Toronto.

Wiman also had a three-fight win streak snapped in recent months after Dennis Siver downed him at UFC 132. Wiman rebounded this past October with a decision victory against Mac Danzig.

It was not made known if Bocek-Wiman would be part of the pay-per-view main card or the prelim action for the night. Other bouts scheduled include Brendan Schaub-Ben Rothwell, Mark Hominick-Eddie Yagin, and Chad Griggs-Travis Browne.

MMA Training Take: This could be somewhat of a do-or-die fight for both men, as the UFC continues to stockpile talent, and any loss can be devastating. Bocek will have the crowd support behind him, which should help push him to victory.
