Whether in a submission-grappling tournament or a MMA match, a fighter always needs to be wary of the possibility of an opponent shooting in for a takedown. However, just because an adversary wants to put a person’s back on the mat doesn’t mean one can’t use their strategy against them to improve his/her own chances of victory.
