A grappler’s “flow” on the ground can make the difference between winning and losing a fight, as an athlete whose transitions aren’t necessarily smooth will likely have a harder time handling an apt adversary than an individual who can string submissions together to make sure his/her opponent is constantly guessing at what to defend.
