Rising star Ramsey Nijem will welcome C.J. Keith to the Octagon this summer, as it appears the two fighters are set to collide at UFC on FX 4 on June 22 from Atlantic City, New Jersey.

For Nijem, the bout marks a chance to try and put together a winning streak after dropping down to lightweight. Last year, the former Ultimate Fighter welterweight defeated Danny Downes in his divisional debut. However, Nijem suffered a broken hand while training shortly thereafter and was knocked out of a planned bout with Anthony Njokuani.

Though not officially announced, MMAWeekly confirmed the fight with Nijem’s management.

For the unbeaten Keith, the fight marks his long-awaited UFC debut after signing with the company several months back. Keith was set to compete sooner, but his family’s house burned down just days after signing his contract.

UFC on FX 4 is scheduled to be headlined by a five-round bout between lightweights Gray Maynard-Clay Guida with other match-ups including Dan Miller-Ricardo Funch and Rick Story-Rich Attonito.

MMA Training Take: This should be an exciting match up, as Nijem has looked much better at lightweight. In Keith, he’ll be facing a rising prospect that is 8-0 in his career and looking to make an impact in his debut fight.
