This weekend’s episode of the Ultimate Fighter 15 had plenty of memorable moments including the presence of a certain arm-snapping female with Olympic credentials. Strikeforce bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey stopped by the TUF set to impart some of her judo knowledge to Dominick Cruz’s squad, impressing all in attendance with her technique, tenacity, and power. Rousey also visited the TUF house, becoming both the first female assistant coach in the series’ history as well as first female inside the contestants’ personal space. Rousey watched UFC 145 alongside the semi-stunned group with Chris Tickle being the lone cast-member shown talking to her.

In terms of actual in-ring action, Team Faber’s Chris Saunders impressed in his scrap with Team Cruz’s Sam Sicilia, coming away with a decision win despite being an underdog. However, the bout could have easily gone to “sudden victory” with each man landing solid shots and showing tremendous heart in overcoming the damage each absorbed.

Next week’s show will feature the final two fighters seeking quarterfinal spots, Mike Rio and Andy Ogle.

TUF 15 Season Summary:

MMATraining Take: TUF seems to be picking up steam after starting out a little slow. This week there were plenty of entertaining occurrences including a brief bit of trash-talking between Urijah Faber and Cruz, as well as pranks and a fantastic fight.
